These are very comfortable and secure and do a pretty good job of rendering hands useless, but they could use some more padding to be more effective. Although my hands might just be on the smaller side.

These are great mitts, but they take some breaking in before they are comfortable. Don’t give up on them, Squish them around and eventually that seam on the inside loosens up enough that it is soft as can be. Don’t bother with leather softeners (such as neatsfoot oil) and such either, I dont know if they put a ridiculously good sealant on the leather, or if it is an imitation leather (though their care instructions would suggest legitimate leather as well as the way it breaks in) but it will not accept the oil. it just sits on there. Hope this helps! Also, they are Genuine Strict leather brand! Despite the great price, I did contact strict leather and they confirmed before I purchased. 🙂 Have fun!
