It seems well made and feels solid and strong, and does not slip. It is easy to release, as well, and the coating keeps it from slipping or scraping on teeth. All in all, I’m very glad I went with this one, rather than a lower priced one that didn’t have the coating.
Your sub’s jaw is going to be sore at first but definitely worth the money and very much fulfills its intended purpose. Might want to use a short piece of line to hold it in place behind the head.

I spent a long time trying to find a Jennings gag that was rubber coated. This covers that end of what I needed. It fits well, the space is wide but not too wide. The rubber has no noticeable smell or taste. I only wish it came with a strap, as it’s possible to push it out of your mouth without one.
It’s a quality piece. The rubber seems durable…..I don’t expect any issues with it. As others have said…..it can be pushed out……but nothing a small strap or chain won’t fix.
